August 12, 1932 ~ January 3, 2023 (age 90)

Billy "Bill" Stieber, 90, beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather, and Brother was called to his eternal resting place on January 3, 2023. He entered this world on August 12, 1932, in Meeker, Oklahoma, born to William Rudolph and Hazel Lucille Sanders Stieber of Ponca City.

Graveside services will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 6, 2023, in the Resthaven Memorial Park Cemetery with Pastor Gary Wilburn officiating. Visitation will be held Thursday, January 5, 2023, from 4 P.M. to 8 p.m. with family present to receive friends and relatives at Grace Memorial Chapel of Ponca City.

Bill attended elementary School at Enterprise and moved to California with his family and came back to graduate from PO High in 1951. Bill served his country in the United States Army. Bill worked at several different places in Ponca City, and he retired from the Plumbers and Pipefitters Union Local 767 as a pipefitter in 1994. Bill met the love of his life, Eileen Buford and they were married on December 29, 1988, in Miami, OK and they made their home in Ponca City. Bill enjoyed reading, watching football, working in the yard, but most of all he enjoyed spoiling his grandkids.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife, Eileen Stieber of the home; Three sons; Michael Batt Stieber and husband Rickey of Temecula, CA, Bruce Stieber, and wife Dianna of Edmond, OK and Aaron Laughlin and wife Mariah of Ponca City, OK. Two daughters; Sharon Stieber and Leah Stieber both of Ponca city, OK., One brother; Jim Stieber and wife Janice, Sister; Betty Horinek and one sister-in-law, Mona Stieber all of Ponca City, OK. Billy is also survived by 14 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents, two sons: Bob Stieber and Steven Laughlin, one brother, Howard Stieber, one sister, Peggy Krenn and one great grandson, Noah Butler.

Honorary pallbearers are Sasha Burns, Kerri Bowman, Josh Stieber, Chris Butler, Kandi Bennett, Jacob Stieber, Tara Laughlin, Hunter Garrison, Shadin Anson, MacKenzie Laughlin, Dalton Laughlin, Jagger Laughlin, Christopher Cochran, and Preston Villoria-Stieber.
