Wesley "Wes" SHIELDS

Resthaven Cemetery

Wesley "Wes" Shields
August 28, 1954 ~ February 2, 2022

Wesley Shields, 67, was called to the heavenly hunting grounds, February 2, 2022.

Wes was born August 28, 1954, to Clyde and Rosalie Shields. he was one of six children. He has always been an outdoorsman even as a child, and many of the memories of him are those of camping hunting, fishing, and the stock car races. Wes was truly a family man and loved to build campfires and enjoy grilling out with his closest friends and loved ones. He was a joy to be around, and we will miss being in his company.

Wesley is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers Clyde Jr, and Louis Shields; and his son Larry Shields.

Those left behind to cherish his memories are his wife, Tawyna Shields, of the home; three daughters- Samantha Sisney and husband Jarrod, April Shields, Katrina Robertson and husband Chase; two grandchildren Lane Daugherty and Todd Sisney; one brother Ricky Shields and wife Connie; two sisters Wilma Carmack and Carolyn Ailey and husband Earl; and a host of friends and other family members.

Visitation will be held at Grace Memorial Chapel Thursday from 1-7 p.m.

A graveside service will be held at Sunset Memorial Cemetery on Friday, February 11, 2022, at 2 p.m. with Pastor Roy Edwards officiating. For those unable to attend condolences may be left online at www.gracememorialchapel.net.
