August 11, 1958 - February 24, 2023

Kathy LeAn Pettigrew, 64, of Ponca City, OK, passed away February 24, 2023. Viewing will be Sunday, March 5, 2023 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A Funeral Ceremony will be held at 10:00 AM on March 6, 2023, at Trout Funeral Home Chapel. Arrangements are under the direction of Trout Funeral Home & Crematory, 505 W. Grand Ave., Ponca City, OK, 74601.

Kathy was born August 11, 1958, in Ponca City, to Donald and Verona (Morgan) Streeter. She graduated from Ponca City High School in 1976 and Northern Oklahoma College in 1978 and went on to work for Conoco in Exploration Production Accounting. She retired in 2014, from ConocoPhillips Transportation group. Kathy was a longtime volunteer with the Ponca City Police Department Extra Eyes program. In her spare time, she enjoyed golfing, traveling and going to the lake. She loved spending as much time as possible with her two grandchildren. She described them as the "light of her life."

Kathy is survived by: her children, Jason Pettigrew of Ponca City and Jaime Pettigrew of Bixby, OK; mother, Verona Mair of Ponca City; grandchildren, London and Kooper Pettigrew; and sister, Konni Streeter and Gerald Spurgeon of Ponca City. She was preceded in death by: her father; step-father, Glen Mair and sister, Kim Davis.

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that contributions be made to local organizations or consider donating blood.
