Adam Perry LeClair of Ponca City passed away on Saturday, March 10, 2018. He was 54 years old. He was born in Pawnee, Oklahoma on December 7, 1963 to John Wesley LeClair, Sr. and Matilda Lidia Hardman LeClair. He was a member of the Ponca Tribe of Oklahoma. Adam worked in maintenance.

Survivors include his sisters Michele LeClair, Vicki Yuvonne LeClair, and Nina Lucille LeClair, brothers Phillip LeClair, Alex Mike LeClair,and Johnny Willene LeClair, several nieces, nephew, aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers John Wesley LeClair, JR. and Joey Weldon LeClair, sisters Ramona Faye LeClair, Cordene Renee LeClair, and Stacy Allison LeClair.

Adam is a descendant of Phillip LeClair and Lucille LeClair who were members of the Ponca Tribe on his father's side. He is also a descendant of Cornelius Hardman and Cordelia Hardman who were members of the Ponca Tribe on his mother's side.

A traditional tribal ceremony will be held at the Ponca Indian United Methodist Church of White Eagle on Friday March 16, 2018. The feast will begin at noon. Burial will follow at the Ponca Indian Cemetery in Ponca City, Oklahoma.

Casketbearers for the service will include Johnny Seal, Devin LeClair, Sergio LeClair, Cornelius LeClair, Kevin Kemble, Alburn Warrior, Curtis Primeaux, Jr., and Robert Primeaux. Honorary Casketbearers will include Steven Souter, Bud Collins, Kevin Rhodd, and William Rhodd.
