TAHLEQUAH - Joshua Lee Harvey passed from this life Wednesday, Nov. 1, 2006, in Ponca City at 24 years of age. He was born Sept. 13, 1982, in Tahlequah to Roger and Norma (Snell) Harvey. He grew up in Tahlequah and attended Peggs Elementary and Sequoyah High School and was a 2002 graduate of Tahlequah High School. He was a general laborer in the construction industry and enjoyed fishing, playing softball, golf and spending time with his family and friends.

Joshua is preceded in death by his wife, Casey; his son, Kaw-liga Harvey; unborn daughter, Kiden Harvey; paternal grandparents, Gladys Harvey Cook, Roger Lee Harvey and Freeland Cook; maternal grandparents, James and Sarah Snell; paternal great-grandfather, Wallace Fisher; maternal great-grandparents, Home and Betsy Snell; an aunt Mary Sue and an uncle, Kaw-Liga Snell.

He is survived by his children, Kyle and Kellan Harvey; his parents, Roger and Norma Harvey; two sisters, Myra Harvey and Deana Mouse; great-grandmother, Minnie Fisher; two nieces, Makayla and Nakiah Mouse; two aunts, Eva Manning and Carla Winfield; and numerous special cousins, extended family and friends.

A wake will be held from 6-8 p.m., Friday, Nov. 3, at Reed-Culver Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. James White officiating. A funeral will be held at 9 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 4, at Reed-Culver Chapel. A second ceremony for Josh, Casey and Kaw-liga will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 4, at the Ponca Tribe Cultural Center. Interment will follow at Ponca Indian Cemetery.

Pallbearers include Willis Crabtree, Woody White, Josh Fisher, Justin Manning, Jarrod Manning, Tim McLemore, Trenton McLemore and Chooch Turner. Honorary Pallbearers include Charlie Fisher, Gabe Mouse, Stevie Thompson, Ronnie Max Harvey, Eric Cloud, Jason Fisher and Joseph Fisher. Funeral arrangements under the direction of Reed-Culver Funeral Home.
