January 10, 1939 - September 28, 2023

Un Su (Jay) Hudson, 84, of Ponca City, passed away on September 28th, 2023 while surrounded by loved ones.

Jay was born on January 10th, 1939 in Chung Nam, Korea to her parents Jung Ha, Lee and Si Bak, An. Jay met her husband Richard when he was stationed in Korea while serving in the United States military. They were married on October 6th, 1980 in Korea and relocated to Ponca City to begin their lives together. Jay became a proud US citizen a few years later on March 28th, 1985.

She was a determined and hard-working individual who made a living by cleaning homes around Ponca City. She served numerous clients and made heartfelt connections with those she worked with. In her free time, Jay enjoyed the sunshine and the outdoors, especially yard-work at her home. Here, she tended to her flower gardens and put a great deal of care into her flourishing vegetable garden. Jay also loved fishing with her husband.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Jung Ha, Lee, Si Bak, An, and her husband, Richard Hudson. Jay is survived by her sister, Eun Ja of Korea, niece, Hyuna of Canada, and closest friend, Audrey Hendrix, also known as her "USA Sister," of Ponca City.

A viewing is scheduled for 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 1st, 2023 at Grace Memorial Chapel in Ponca City, OK. Her graveside memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, October 2nd, 2023 in the Odd Fellows Cemetery under the care of Grace Memorial Chapel.
