Audrey Callaway ~~~1932-2004

Audrey Mae Callaway-Burling, 72, formerly of Arkansas City, died Saturday, Aug. 14, 2004, at her residence on Grand Lake near Ketchum, Okla.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tues. Aug. 17, 2004, at the Rindt-Erdman Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Newkirk Cemetery with the Rev. Steve Chambers officiating.
Born Feb. 17, 1932 in Braman, Okla., she was the daughter of Edgar and Goldie (Onstott) Callaway. She was reared in Newkirk and educated in Arkansas City. She lived in Arkansas City many years before moving to Grand Lake in 1976.
Audrey married Clifton Burling on Dec. 18, 1985, in Tulsa, Okla. The couple has resided on Grand Lake since.
Audrey was a real estate agent for many years, working for various agencies until finally owning her own later in life.
Survivors include her husband, Clifton of the home; one son, Russell Gage of Ozark, Mo., four daughters, Pat Hare of Olathe, Bonnie Nulik of Arkansas City, Cathie Thiebaud of Mineral Wells, Texas, and Donna Fagg of Arkansas City; two step-sons, Jack Burling, of Edmond, Okla., and Glen Burling of Oklahoma City; two step-daughters, Tanda Romero of Hobbs, New Mexico, and Jill Sells of Detroit, Mich.; 21 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Patricia Ann, and a son-in-law, Gary Hare.
