GUYMON, Okla. - Mona Jocalee Thompson, 70, died Friday, July 9, 2004.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in First Christian Church Disciples Center with the Rev. Terry Neel officiating. Burial will be in Elmhurst Cemetery by Bunch-Roberts Funeral Home.
Mrs. Thompson married Melvin L. Thompson on Oct. 14, 1950, in Arnett. They came to Guymon in 1954, where she worked as a telephone operator for GTE.
Survivors include three daughters, Jodene Thompson of Ponca City, Judy Holzberger of Comanche and Janet Dodson of Hardesty; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Vesta Shelton of Wichita, Kan., Ellen Hopper of Tuttle and Marilyn McCoullough of Chandler.
The family suggests memorials be to the Guymon First Christian Church Building Fund and may be sent in care of Bunch-Roberts Funeral Home, P.O. Box 1112, Guymon, OK 79342.
