ONE DEAD IN MOTOR CRASH
---
Brother of Perry Woman is Victim
---
(Special to The News)
Perry, May 23. - A Stricker, brother of Mrs. Tom Wolleson of Perry and who is a resident of Post, Cal., was instantly killed a mile north of Tonkawa about 8:30 Sunday morning and Tom Wolleson and Dr Gene Osborne were seriously injured and Dicky Burney of Marietta, was slightly injured when the car in which they were riding was smashed into by a Ford touring car.
Stricker was riding in the front seat of a Chevrolet touring which Wolleson was driving when the accident occured and it is presumed that his neck was broken. He was found dead about ten feet from the car after the accident where he was thrown.
Dr. Osborne appears to be the most seriously injured of the other three with some serious cuts about this face and some internal injuries. Fear was expressed at the Tonkawa hospital where he was taken following the accident that a broken rib had punctured his lungs. Osborne and Wolleson are in the Strickler hospital in Tonkawa.
Burney esaped with the least injuries and it is believed that this was due to the fact that he dropped to the bottom of the car in the back seat as soon as he saw that the crash coul not be avoided. He had a bruise over the right temple and received an injury to his left arm and shoulder.
The body of Strickler was taken to the McCafferty funeral home in Tonkawa following the accident and late sent to Perry, Stricker and his wife were in Perry visiting the wolleson home.
