Eva Millian
The Kay County Sun
April 13, 1899
Submitted by: Mollie Stehno

Mrs. Eva Millian, wife of J. A. Millian, died at the residence of her son-in-law, B. E. Smith of this city, on April 13th of spinal meningitis. Her remains were interred in the IOOF cemetery the following day. Services were conducted at the Christian church, by Rev. McMahan, Pastor.
A husband and eight, children survive the mother. Six of the children were present at her death; the other two reside in Colorado. Mrs. Millian was born in Pennsylvania in 1847, she was fifty-one years old and was a member of the Christian church. She was a good Christian woman and high respected, living a life worth of imitation. Not doubt that the motto, “What is home without a mother: will be significant and fully realized the family who have just been bereft of a loving mother’s tender words of cheer, the purest and holiest that falls fro mortal lips. The Sun extends to the father and children sincere sympathy.
