Lopeman Funeral Rites Will Be Held Thursday
Funeral services for William Lopeman, 83, who came to Ponca City from Thayer, Kan., a number of years ago as a retired farmer, will be held at the chapel of the Miles funeral home at 2 p.m. Thursday.
The Rev. V. H. Shumway, pastor of the Assembly of God church, will officiate at the service.
Opeman, who died Tuesday after an illness of five years, was born Sept. 15, 1859. Mrs. Lopeman preceded him in death about four years ago.
Two sons, George Lopeman of Ponca City, and Virgil Lopeman of Tonkawa, are amoung the survivors.
Burial will be in the Longwood cemetery.
