Anna M. White, resident of Ponca City, passed Thursday, January 26, 2012 at the Ponca City Medical Center. She was 73 years of age.

Anna was born May 31, 1938 at Clintwood, Virginia, the daughter of Clint and Ethel Sykes Fleming. Her early education was in Virginia. She was married to Kenneth White on June 9, 1959. The couple moved to Oklahoma in the early 1970s.

She is survived by three children, Denise L. White, Doug White and Dean White, all of Ponca City two brothers, John Fleming and wife, Sara, of Adel, Georgia and Paul Fleming and wife, Shirley, of Clintwood, Virginia grandchildren Kenneth White, Deitric White, Kristina White, Douglas White, Justin White, Erica White, Drew White, Dedra White and Desiree White numerous other great grandchildren and extended family. She was preceded in death by her parents husband daughter Debbora White one granddaughter Denise Ann White her siblings Patricia Pat Cox, Lloyd Fleming, Geraldine Gerri Buchanan and Mary Dean Lambert.

She had been employed at Jeans Lasso for several years before its closing. Her enjoyments included cooking, music, and watching Atlanta Braves baseball games.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Monday, January 30, 2012 at Grace Memorial Chapel with Hospice Chaplain Tom Howard presiding. Interment will follow at the Longwood Cemetery.
