Graveside services for Wayne M. Veach, 72, who died Sunday evening in a local hospital, will be at 2 PM Wednesday in the Longwood Cemetery east of Ponca City with the Rev. Kenneth E. Wade officiating. Arrangements are by Henninger – Allen Funeral Home.

He was born July 26, 1915, near Ponca City and grew up at Three Sands, where he graduated from high school. He began work for Shell Oil Company in 1936 and worked in various areas of Oklahoma and Kansas.

He and Willie Lorraine May or married in 1936 at McPherson, Kansas. They lived there until moving to Enid in 1984. He was a former member of NCHA.

Survivors include two sons, William M. "Bill" of Enid and Robert M. "Bob" of Phoenix, Arizona; a grandson; two sisters, Virginia Simons, Newkirk and Mrs. Don (Menleva) Breidenbach, Ponca City. He was preceded in death by his wife, a brother and three sisters.

Memorials may be made to the Wayne M. Veach Memorial Fund, with the funeral home serving as custody in of contributions.
