Graveside services for Herman E. "Bud" Jordan were held at 2 pm, Tuesday, December 14, 2010 under the direction of Trout Funeral Home and Crematory. Pastor Mike Ridgeway officiated.

He was born October 7, 1918 in the Longwood Community (East of Ponca City) to Fred and Nellie Miller Jordan and passed away Friday, December 10, 2010 at the Ponca City Medical Center at the age of 92.

He worked in the Shipyards in Oakland California. At the time of his retirement, he was the assistant superintendent for the Parks and Recreation Department.

Bud served in the U S Army during World War ll and landed in Anzio Italy.

Survivors include his son Gary R. and Genie Jordan of Ponca City, OK; Terry and Tammy Jordan of Ponca City, OK; daughter, Deanna Raulston of Ponca City, OK; stepsons, John and Anita Allensworth, Jerry and Polly Allensworth, and James Allensworth all of Ponca City, OK; stepdaughters, Nancy Byrd of North Carolina, and Aretta Saunders of Ponca City, OK, sister Priscilla and Mel Powell. He is also survived by 23 grandchildren and 41 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Nellie Jordan; wife, Nellie Juanita Warren; wife, Mildred Woolman; Son, Robert Jordan; Daughter, Jeanne Caldwell; Stepsons, L.D. Hicks and Raymond Raulston; sisters, Luvina Hill and Jerry Edens; brother, Keith Jordan and one step-granddaughter, Jody Allensworth.
