Mrs. Nellie Gertrude Scott, nee Kindrick, was born December 4, 1874 near Hillboro, Ill., moved with her parents and settled near Wellington, Kansas in 1876. She united with the M. E. church in 1892 and was a constant member and a faithful worker until her death. She was married to Samuel S. Scott, February 19, 1895, at her home. She came with her husband the same year and settled near Blackwell, O. T., here have they lived until her death, Monday evening, October 23, 1899.
She leaves a husband, twin babies eight months old, father and mother, nine brothers and sisters, but they sorrow not as others who have no hope.
