Max Kite ~ ~ ~ 1907-1990

KITE RITE SET GRAVESIDE
Max Kite, a native of Blackwell, died at 1:15 p.m. Monday in Enid Memorial Hospital. He was 83.

A graveside service will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in the Blackwell IOOF Cemetery. Rev. Randy Hodgson, pastor of the First United Methodist Church, will officiate.

Mr. Kite was born Feb. 14, 1907, in Blackwell, son of George and Mary Kite. He attended Trowbridge Training School in Kansas City, Mo., during his early years then moved to Helena and resided there. He was a member of the Methodist Church.

He is survived by one sister, Nina Erdwurm of Blackwell.

A brother, Robert Kite, and a sister, Velma Kite, preceded him in death.

Mrs. Erdwurm has suggested a memorial in his name to the First United Methodist Church in Blackwell.

Roberts and Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements and will act as custodian of the memorial fund.
