Graveside Rite Scheduled For Mrs. Hutchison
Mrs. George (Lela Jewell) Hutchison, 80, died Sunday in Tulsa. She was a former Blackwell resident.
The funeral is set for 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in East Tulsa Church of God. Moore Funeral Home of Tulsa is in charge.
There will be a graveside service at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Blackwell IOOF Cemetery with Rev. Joe Faircloth, Red Ford Church of God in Tulsa, officiating.
Roberts and Son Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements.
Mrs. Hutchison was born in Sparks. In 1931, she married Charley Sellers and they made their home in Blackwell. After his death in 1953, she moved to Stillwater.
In 1956, she married George J. Hutchison in Stillwater and they continued to live there. He is a retired Oklahoma State University lab technician. They have lived in Tulsa for a number of years.
Mrs. Hutchison was a member of the Eastern Star, first in Blackwell then in Tulsa; the American Legion Auxiliary, Stillwater and Tulsa; Rebekah Lodge, Blackwell and Tulsa and Ladies Auxiliary Patriarch Militant, Stillwater.
Survivors are her husband, George, of the home, 6324 East 7th Street, Tulsa, OK 74112; one son, Jack L. Sellers, Tulsa; one daughter, Mary Patricia Bury, Kennesaw, GA; seven grandchildren; one great-granddaughter and a half-sister, May Spicer, Abilene, KS.
