Death Comes to Mrs. Heldenbrand, Here Since 1932
Mrs. Dora Margaret Heldenbrand, 56, died in her sleep at her home 511 South Third, early Wednesday morning.
Mrs. Heldenbrand was born at Lawrence, Neb. on July 24, 1896, and was married to Roy E. Heldenbrand at North Platte, Neb., on July 28, 1917.
She came to Blackwell with her family in 1932 and had lived here since that time. She was a member of the Christian Church.
Survivors include her husband and a daughter, Mary, of the home; three other children, Roy J. Heldenbrand, Clyde B. Heldenbrand and Mrs. Ed Martin all of Blackwell; and two brothers, Floyd Kelly of Stapleton, Neb., and Art Kelly of National City, Calif.
A son, Ronald E. Heldenbrand, was killed on July 25, 1943, while in the armed services.
Funeral arrangements will be announced by the Porter Funeral Home.
Heldenbrand Services Set Friday Afternoon
Last rites for Mrs. Roy E. Heldenbrand, 56, who died in her sleep at her home, 511 South Third, early Wednesday morning, will be held at 3 p.m. Friday in the First Christian Church.
Rev. Bert Sutton will officiate and burial will be in the IOOF cemetery under direction of the Porter Funeral Home.
