Erdwurm Rites Set Tuesday
Services for Fred J. Erdwurm, retired Blackwell farmer and realtor, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the First United Methodist Church. Rev. David Parker will officiate. Burial will be in the IOOF Cemetery under the direction of Roberts and Son Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Bob Heatly, Bud Riley, Bruce Wallace, Kent Randall, Arden Finch, Glen Welch, Fred McGee and W. W. Rodgers, Sr.
Erdurm died at his home at 313 West College, Friday. He came to Blackwell from Hobart in the early 1920's and had lived here since.
He was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Chikaskia Lodge 109, Chamber of Commerce, Kiwanis Club, India Temple, Knight Templar, and a 32nd Degree Mason.
Erdwurm is survived by his wife, Nina, of the home; one brother, Robert Erdwurm, Richardson, Tex.; three nieces, Mrs. David McCormick, Quincy, Ill.; Mrs. Harold Herskowistz, Lawton, Mrs. Hugh Owens, Washington, D.C.; and three nephews, Morris Erdwurm, San Antonio, Tex.; Wylie Erdwurm, Tex.; and Sol Simon, Oklahoma City.
A Masonic graveside service will be conducted.
