Preston M. Coleman, 79, Passes at City Home.

Funeral arrangements are pending at Roberts and Sons for Preston M. Coleman, 79, who died at 6:30 a.m. Tuesday at his home, 309 W. Dewey.

Mr. Coleman was born April 22, 1874, at Steeleville, Mo., and came to Blackwell in 1918 from New Mexico.

He was a member of the Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Ida Coleman; two daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Sayre of Blackwell and Mrs. Mary O'Neal of Los Angeles, Calif.; five sons, Clyde of Blackwell, Marvin of Pauls Valley, Okla., Ralph of Denver, Ross of Blackwell and Irvin, Junction City, Ore.; a step-son, Huitt Anderson, Perry, Okla.; a brother, Jess Coleman, Blackwell; and two sisters, Mrs. Nora Halbert of Denver and Mrs. Ella Davis, Steeleville.
