"Hinch Funeral
On Wednesday"
Charles E. Hinch, 48, Blackwell, died suddenly Saturday in Oswego, New York, of natural causes.
A funeral is set for 2 p.m. Wednesday in the First Christian Church. Rev. George Wood, minister of the church, will be the officiant. Burial will be conducted in the IOOF Cemetery under the direction of the Hackler-Porter Funeral Home.
Hinch was born May 4, 1940, in Rush Springs. He was raised and educated there. He came to Blackwell in 1958 and married the former Joyce C. Reed July 11, 1959, in Blackwell. After marriage, the family left Blackwell to follow his work and returned to Blackwell in 1968.
He was employed as a production specialist for Petroferm USA Oil Field Services at the time of his death. He was a member of the First Christian Church, the Chikaskia Masonic Lodge of Blackwell and Moose Lodge of Ponca City. He was also the past worshipful master of the Masonic Lodge in 1976.
He is survived by his wife, Joyce, of the home; sons, Neal Hinch, Blackwell, and David Hinch, Oklahoma City; daughter, Jennie Hinch, Oklahoma City; parents Mr. and Mrs. Frank Hinch of Rush Springs; brothers, Perry and Logan Hinch , both of Cleveland, Texas; sisters, LaDonna Gentile of Detroit; and Nancy Bruner of Houston; three grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the funeral home beginning Tuesday morning until noon Wednesday.
Memorials may be made in Hinch's name to the American Heart Association with Hackler-Porter Funeral Home acting as custodian of the fund."
