JOSEPH F. BALTHUS, 86, Passes At City Home

Joseph F. (Grandpa) Balthus, 86, a resident of Blackwell for 30 years, died at his home, 1002 West Padon at 3 p.m. Sunday.

Funeral services will be conducted in the Porter chapel at 3 p.m. Tuesday, by Dr. N. M. Stigler, pastor of the Baptist Church, and Rev. Beauford Hannum, pastor of the Assembly of God Church.

Mr. Balthus was born in Henry county, Missouri.

Surviving him are four children, Louis L., Ed and Mrs. Effie Morrison, all of the home, and Mrs. Ed Fulton, Midwest City, and a sister, Mrs. Minnie Clayton, Iola, Kans.
