Louise Williamson of Blackwell, Oklahoma
September 29, 1925 - November 25, 2022

Louise Williamson of Blackwell Oklahoma passed away peacefully at her home November 25, 2022, at the age of 97 years old. She was born September 29th, 1925, in Ashton, Kansas to Frank and Mary Kaiser Kucera. Louise grew up on a farm northwest of Newkirk Oklahoma and attended Pleasant Valley Country School. She continued her education at Newkirk High School where she graduated in 1944.

After graduation, she worked at Albright Title and Trust Company in Newkirk Oklahoma. Later she took a course in Cosmetology College in Ponca City Oklahoma. When her brother Frank went into the service, she helped her mother with the farming.

Louise married Charles Williamson on January 27, 1953, in the Methodist Church in Bentonville, Arkansas. She then worked with her husband in the Bowlarena Lanes in Blackwell for 5 years. In 1958, they built a 16-lane bowling alley in Temple Texas staying there for 10 years. They moved back to Blackwell in 1968 and re-opened the Bowlarena Lanes. She worked there 12 years before retiring. Louise was a member of the Blackwell Church of Christ and enjoyed spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents Frank and Mary Kucera, her husband Charles Williamson, brother Frank Kucera Jr., and stepson Fred Williamson. She is survived by her sister-in-law Anna Kucera, stepdaughter Joann Cartwright, stepdaughter in law, Kaye Williamson, nieces Linda Roblyer and husband Pete, Barbara Regier and husband Paul, Francie Tolle and husband Chuck, Brenda Taylor and husband Derry, and four step grandchildren. She is also survived by a great niece, great nephews and great step grandchildren and their families.

Visitation will be Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home.

Services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m., Friday, December 2nd in the Roberts and Son Funeral Home Chapel with Lanny Jobe of the Blackwell Church of Christ officiating. Burial will follow in the Blackwell Cemetery.

Casket bearers will be her great niece Ciera Turney and great nephews, Cody Roblyer, Craig Regier, Colton Regier, Clint Tolle, Dakota Taylor, Cole Tolle, and Austin Taylor.

Memorial funds have been established in her honor with the Church of Christ in Blackwell Oklahoma in care of Roberts and Son Funeral Home, 120 West Padon, Blackwell Oklahoma, 74631.
