Billie Ruth “Jamison” Bracksieck, 86, of Early TX, went to be with her Lord and Savior Thursday May 5, 2016. Billie Ruth Bailey was born February 26, 1930, in Earlsboro OK, to William H. and Mabel Gertrude (McCaslin) Bailey. After graduation from high school, Billie Ruth meet and married James R. “Bob” Jamison November 8, 1947 in Stillwater OK. They were married 39 years and had two children, a daughter and a son. Bob was in the oil business, he and Billie Ruth moved many times in Texas until 1973 when he retired in Blackwell OK. Billie Ruth was a homemaker and was a great cook, good with her hands doing crocheting and needle work. She loved her Lord and family. In Kingsville TX, she started a private kindergarten at the Calvary Baptist Church. For 19 years, she taught Sunday school to three years old in Brownwood at the Coggin Avenue Baptist Church. Billie Ruth was an avid reader and was a member of a ladies group that met to exchange ideas on inspirational material.

Billie Ruth is survived by her husband of 12 years, Vondal Bracksieck; daughter, Cheryl Smith and husband Mike of Midland TX; son, Gary Jamison of Floresville TX; five grandchildren, Ben Smith and wife Sylvia of Midland TX, Lisa Smith of Dallas TXC, Patrick Smith of Hurst TX, Jenna Hahn and husband Jordan of Kyle TX, Courtney Jamison of San Antonio TX; six great grandchildren; sister, Tobi Carrier and husband Perk of Early TX, Wanda Kelley of Tuttle OK; numerous nieces, nephews, step children, step grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by husband James R “Bob” Jamison; parents, William and Mabel Bailey; sister, Edna Burgess; brothers, Floyd and Jack Bailey.

Graveside services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Monday, May 16, 2016, at the Blackwell Cemetery, Blackwell, Oklahoma, with Rev. Randy Ratliff, First Baptist Church, Blackwell, Oklahoma, officiating.

A memorial has been established with the Building Fund of the Coggin Baptist Church, 1815 Coggin Avenue, Brownwood TX 76801.
