TISHOMINGO -- Services for Keith Parks, 77, will be at 2:00 p.m. today at First Baptist Church with Joey Lansdale and Robert Cooper officiating.
Interment will be at Tishomingo Cemetery.
Born on August 4, 1927, in Tishomingo to the late Jim and Willie Keith Parks, he died on December 3, 2004, in Oklahoma City.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Juanita Parks Askew, in 1987.
A 1945 graduate of Tishomingo High School, he attended Murray State College and worked in the oil fields in his younger years.
He operated Eastside Grocery many years, owned and operated Down Under Bar and Keith's Auto Sales.
He is survived by longtime companion, Tincie Haney, Tishomingo; as well as other relatives and many friends.
Bearers will be Rance Biggs, Chance Cannon, Charlie Locke, Oscar Trammell, Ricky Kreger and Jerold Phillips. Honorary bearers are Guy Combes, Chris Wheeler, Charles "Punk" Thompson, Jimmy Harkey, Jimmy Lightfoot, Woodrow Cobb, Lindy Sanders, Fletcher Wheeler, Jess Sherwood, John Kimbrough, Chuck Madison and Hercel Lofton.
Memorials can be made to the Johnston County Reaching Out Cancer Organization c/o Clark Funeral Home, 320 W. Main, Tishomingo, OK 73460.
