Funeral Services for Mrs. Sybil Lucille (Jay) Alloway, 87, of Tishomingo, Oklahoma will be held on Tuesday, November 3, 2015 at 11:00 a. m. at the First United Methodist Church with Reverend Michael Dye officiating, assisted by Brother Jackie Lewis. Interment will follow in the Tishomingo Cemetery. Mrs. Alloway passed away on October 31, 2015 in Tuttle, Oklahoma at the age of 87.

Sybil Lucille (Jay) Alloway was born on February 2, 1928 in Purcell, Oklahoma to Roy Horner Jay and Lillian (Turner) Jay. She married Gerald Ray Alloway on March 27, 1946 and he preceded her in death in 2010. They celebrated 63 years of marriage.

They had two children, Sam Alloway and wife Donna of Tuttle, Oklahoma and Dianne Hogue and Eddie of Coalgate, Oklahoma. She was blessed to have six grandchildren, Danielle Taylor and husband Charles of Shawnee, Oklahoma, Dustin Hogue and wife Valarie of Seminole, Oklahoma, Ashley Alloway and Audrey Davidson of Fort Worth, Texas, Jonathan Hogue and wife Jerri of Coalgate, and Leslie Alloway of Tuttle. She also had 10 great-grandchildren, one of which preceded her in death, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

Sybil was a longtime upstanding community member, serving on several boards and committees throughout her life. She always enjoyed taking care of her animals. She retired after 21 years of service from the Murray State College Library.

Serving as Pallbearers will be Grandchildren.

The family requests that any memorials be made in her name to the Murray State College Foundation, One Murray Campus, Tishomingo, OK 73460
