Funeral Services for Ms. Cynthia Marie Colbert, 55, of Tishomingo, Oklahoma will be held on Saturday, March 31, 2018 at 2:00 p. m. at the First Baptist Church at Main & Byrd Streets in Tishomingo.  Rev. Dale Perry will officiate. 

The interment will follow in the Shady Grove Cemetery. 

Ms. Colbert passed away on March 26, 2018 at the Wilson N. Jones Hospital in Sherman, Texas.   Cynthia Marie Colbert was born on September 24, 1962 in Tishomingo to Joseph Colbert and Ollie (Richardson) Colbert.  She graduated from high school here and afterward, she attended Murray State College, receiving an Associates Degree in Business.  Cynthia worked at various jobs during her career to include, being a Secretary at Murray State, Supervisor for Scott Pet Products, and most recently, as the Assistant Manager at the Family Dollar Store in Tishomingo. 

She was preceded in death by her father and her grandmother, Argerene Perry.

Cynthia is survived by her mother, Ollie Colbert of Tishomingo; three daughters, LaToya Davis and husband Robert, Whitney Hurley and husband Kaleb and Moesha Colbert, all of Tishomingo; two sisters, Vivian Johnson and husband Dan of Ardmore and Jackie Johnson and husband Leon of Oklahoma City; her brother, Jim Carter and companion Shontel of Tulsa; grandchildren, Dominique, Kassidy, Myra, Adrian and Jeremiah; and other relatives.

Casket Bearers for the service will be: Robert Davis, Kaleb Hurley, Dan Johnson, Ricky Perry, Stephen Perry and Khyon Turner.  Honorary Bearers will be: Steve Cheadle, Ali Brown and Kenneth Perry.  Flower Girls will be: Tonja Cherry Perry, Dietra Perry, Gale Perry, Infinity Cheadle, Marilyn Adgers and the Dairy Queen Crew.
