Clark Funeral Service

Funeral Services for Ms. Fay May, 76, of Tishomingo, Oklahoma will be held on Wednesday, July 24th, 2013 at 1:00 p. m. at the First Baptist Church with Mr. Van Newton officiating, assisted by Rev. Luke Holmes. Interment will follow in the Russett Cemetery. Ms. May passed away on July 20th, 2013 at the Denton Regional Hospital in Denton, Texas.

Fay was born on June 21st, 1937 in Hendrix, Oklahoma to Delno Arthur Covington and Grace Bell (Allen) Covington. She graduated from high school at Russett and later married Tommy Sylvester May on December 15th, 1955 in Ardmore, Oklahoma. Fay worked at the Murray State College Daycare for a short time and then as a deputy clerk in the Johnston County Clerk’s office, retiring with 20 plus years of service. She was also a longtime member of the First Baptist Church in Tishomingo.

Fay was preceded in death by her parents; her husband on May 11th, 1992; and two brothers, Leland and Don Covington.

She is survived by three sons, Tom May and wife Cindy of Davis, Oklahoma; Charles May and wife Pat of Ardmore and Todd May of Davis; her daughter, Ann Wedding and husband Mark of Little Elm, Texas; two sisters, Sue Ozment of Enos, Oklahoma and Mary Skaggs of Moore, Oklahoma; fifteen grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; other relatives and a host of friends.

Pallbearers for the service will be Deacons of the First Baptist Church.
