Graveside Services for Carolyn Sue (Hester) Meador, 70, of Ravia, Oklahoma will be held on Monday, October 19, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at the Ravia Cemetery with Mr. Ben Gastineau officiating. Mrs. Meader passed away on Friday, October 16th, at the Johnston Memorial Hospital in Tishomingo. Visitation and viewing will be held on Sunday, October 18th, from 2-5 pm at the funeral home.

Carolyn was born on August 16, 1939 in Mannsville,Oklahoma to Henry Hester and Juanita Haley Hester. She attended Ravia Schools and married Byron R. Meador on September 18, 1961 in Gainesville, Texas. She was retired as a home health aide and was a homemaker. Mrs. Meador attended the First Baptist Church in Ravia.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Byron R. Meador on June 27, 2005.

Carolyn is survived by her daughter, Marnita (Meador) Parker of Ravia; her grandson, Daris Patrick Byron Parker of Ravia; three brothers, Billy Don Hester of Edmond, Oklahoma, Melton Hester and Joe Hester, both of Ravia and other relatives and friends.
