Criswell Funeral Home, Ada

ADA-Services for Norma Jean McAnally, 71, of Ada are 2:00 p.m. Friday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Frank Trent will officiate. Burial will follow at Pontotoc Cemetery in Pontotoc.

Mrs. McAnally died Tuesday, June 2, 2015 at a Norman hospital. She was born July 1, 1943 in Oakland, CA to Luther and Alta Lucas Hawthorne. She graduated from Wilburton High School.

She married Alvin James McAnally on November 27, 1978. Mrs. McAnally was a long time home health provider and was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include her husband, Alvin McAnally of the home; three daughters, Tammy Bullard of Ada, Andi Wiesener and husband Eric of Shawnee and Gina Johnson and husband Shane of Ada; one son, Randy Bullard and fiance’, Tammy Durham of Ada; nine grandchildren, Derek Waldron, Brian Collins, Austin Johnson, Bladen Johnson, Lacey Waldron, Jennifer Collins, Heather Barnett, Jasie Jeann Lee and Maggie Johnson; six great-grandchildren, Rylan Luckey, Kaden and Kannon Barnett, Liam Collins, Lexey Waldron and Brinley Waldron; two sisters, Dorothy Hayes and husband Willie of Ada and Nancy Firestone and husband Monk of Velma.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, James Robert Hawthorne.
Bearers will be Matt Worcester, Doug Storts, Keeton Storts, Trent Storts and Michael Marler. Honorary bearers will be Willie Hayes, Monk Firestone, Eric Wiesener and Shane Johnson.
