Clark Funeral Service

Funeral Services for Mr. Michael Lester Hotema, Sr., 60, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma will be held on Tuesday, January 29th, 2013 at 2:00 p. m. in the Clark Funeral Chapel with Brother Benny Hotema officiating.

Interment will follow in the Mill Creek Cemetery.

Mr. Hotema passed away on January 23rd, 2013 at the Veteran's Medical Center in Oklahoma City. Michael was born on May 13th, 1952 in Hobart, Oklahoma to Cyrus Solomon Hotema and Georgine Ann (Ware) Hotema. He was raised in Hobart, Oklahoma City and Dallas, Texas. He served in the United States Marine Corps in 1970 and 1971 and was later married to Winona Whiteshirt.

She preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Frank Solomon Hotema and other relatives.

Michael is survived by his son, Michael Lester Hotema, Jr. and wife Johna, three grandchildren, Brooklyn, Brayden and Brianna, all of Ardmore, Oklahoma; his grandmother, Betty (Kokoom) Nixon of Wichita, Kansas; three brothers, Benny Ray Hotema and wife Bessie of Muskogee, Oklahoma, Bobby Hotema and wife Jocelyn and James Hotema and wife Jamie, all of Mill Creek; four nephews, Benji, Garrett, Montana and Thomas Hotema; four nieces, Benita, Samantha, Jara and Jamie Hotema; and numerous other relatives.
