Funeral Services for Jocelynn Gem Hotema will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, September 25, 2019 at the First Baptist Church in Mill Creek, Oklahoma with Brother Benny Hotema to officiate.

Interment to follow at Mill Creek Cemetery.

Family hour will be held on Tuesday from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at DeArman-Clark Funeral Home. Jocelynn Gem Hotema passed from this life at the age of 63 on September 20, 2019 in the comfort of her home with her loving family surrounding her.

Jocelynn was born on September 21, 1955 in Star City, Arkansas to Merlin and Gwendolyn Faulkner. She lived her childhood and younger years in Dallas, Texas where she graduated from Dallas Christian High School and attended Abilene Christian. Jocelynn had four daughters; Jamie, Jara, Jurea and Jaylnn including a granddaughter Jade that she has raised on her own. She lived the last 17 years in Mill Creek, Oklahoma with her husband of 35 years, Bob Hotema. Jocelynn was a family woman and always put them first. She loved to cook, shop and eat Mexican food with her daughters. She loved listening to Rock and Roll and lived her live to the fullest. Jocelynn was an amazing and selfless woman who will be forever missed.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Merlin and Gwendolyn Faulkner.

Those she leaves to cherish her memories is her husband, Bob Hotema of the home; daughters, Jamie Hotema and son Landri Wood of Mill Creek, Jade Hotema of Mill Creek, Jara Hotema of Mill Creek, Jurea Garcia and husband Sammy of Dallas, Jalynn Contreras and husband Hector of Oklahoma City; grandchildren, Makya Colungo, Cayson Clanton and Abel Contreras; brothers, Rocky Faulkner of Dallas and John Faulkner of Austin and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends who will forever cherish her memories.
