EMET -- Graveside rites for James M. Stephenson, 57, will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday at Emet Cemetery with Donnie Knight officiating.
Born February 28, 1947, in Oceanside, California, he died July 16, 2004, in Milburn.
He married Vickey Newton March 3, 1977, in Denison, Texas.
He lived in Texas for several years, moving to Johnston County in 1983. He worked at Milburn School in maintenance for a few years and at Tishomingo Chevy-Olds as an auto mechanic. He also owned an auto repair shop for a short time.
Survivors include his wife, of the home; three daughters, Delannia Cleveland, Tishomingo; Virginia McDonald, Milburn; and Linda Janice, Texas; son, Jerry Watkins, Milburn; sister, Sharon Brown, Lewisville, Texas; brother, Chris Stephenson, Fort Worth, Texas; ten grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Visitation is 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. today at Clark Funeral Home, Tishomingo.
