The Funeral Services for Carolyn Ruth, 79, Enid, are 1:00 P.M Friday, November 30, 2018, in Tishomingo, OK. Burial will follow in the Cordon Grove Cemetery, Tishomingo, OK.

The Funeral Services Celebrating and Honoring the Life of Carolyn Ruth, 79, of Enid will be held 1:00 P.M Friday November 30, 2018 in the Abundant Life Church, Tishomingo, OK. with Pastor Brad Mendenhall and Pastor Doquoi Green officiating.

Burial will follow in the Condon Grove Cemetery, Tishomingo, OK. Services are under the direction of Brown-Cummings Funeral Home.

She was born July 16, 1939 in Ardmore, OK. to Luther and Anna Hawk Tacket and passed from this life on November 26, 2018 in Enid, OK. She was raised and educated in the Graham area attending the Graham and Fox High Schools. She Married Otis Ruth June 16, 1956 in Fox. The couple made their home and started their family in Haywood California outside of Oakland. They returned to Oklahoma making their home in Ratliff City where she raised her children. She was an active member of the Ratliff City Baptist Church.

In 1996 the couple moved to Enid to be near to their daughters and grandchildren. She was an active member of The World Harvest Church. She was an amazingly gifted artist, writer and was a published Poet. She always had an abundance of unconditional love for her family and her Lord Jesus Christ. She never missed a family members birthday and would always call and sing them Happy Birthday.

She is survived by her beloved husband of over 62 years, daughters; Deborah President, Tina Lee (Ruth), and Michelle Christian, son; Tony Ruth, nine grandchildren, twenty-four great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild and sisters, Laquita Thompson, and Christine Wright.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Luther Tacket.

Memorials in her name may be made to Grace World Outreach with Brown-Cummings Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.
