Vanita F. Page was born on February 25th, 1929 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma to Mouton Holland and Lorena Mitchell Holland. Mrs. Page was a nursing aid for many years as well as a wonderful wife and mother. She married Robert (Bob) L. Page on March 22nd, 1947. Mr. and Mrs. Page are long time residents of Milburn, Oklahoma where Mr. Page was the Pastor of the Milburn Church of Christ. Mrs. Page passed away at Johnston Memorial Hospital on September 11th, 2010 at the age of 81.

She was preceded in death by her parents; Mouton and Lorena Holland, a sister, Valine Holland, three brothers; Carl Holland, Cletus Holland and Cloyce Holland.

Mrs. Page is survived by her husband Bob, of Hillcrest Nursing Home, Tishomingo, Oklahoma; a son, Jimmy Page of Stratford, Oklahoma; two daughters, Linda Moore of Fillmore, Oklahoma and Helen Hackney of Ardmore, Oklahoma; seven grandchildren; Terry Page, Bobby Page, Lacie Kelly, Shawn Moore, Casey Moore, Lindsay McCarter and Jessica Chaney. Mrs. Page also had twelve great grand children, numerous nieces and nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.

Funeral Services for Mr. Robert L. “Bob” Page, 85, of Milburn, Oklahoma will be held on Saturday, July 6th, 2013 at 10:00 a. m. at the Westside Church of Christ in Tishomingo, Oklahoma with Bill Jones officiating, assisted by Stuart Bailey. Song leader for the service will be Buddy Deaver.

Interment will follow in the Condon Grove Cemetery in Milburn. Mr. Page passed away on July 2nd, 2013 at the Hillcrest Health Care facility in Tishomingo.

Bob was born on May 30th, 1928 in Stratford, Oklahoma to James Page and Vada (Endicott) Page. He attended school there and later attended and graduated from the Central Christian Bible College in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. Bob married Vanita Fern Holland on March 22nd, 1947 in Pauls Valley. He worked at various jobs during his lifetime to include, a grader operator for Garvin County, at the OTASCO store in Tishomingo, as a heavy equipment operator on construction projects, but mostly, as a Church of Christ minister for churches in Oklahoma to include, Milburn, Mannsville, Kiowa, Lexington and Caddo. Bob and Vanita moved to Milburn in 1964, then to Stratford and returned to Johnston County in 1992.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, on September 11th, 2010; two brothers, Ralph and Ira Page; a sister, Helen Warden and a brother-in-law, Tim Nedrow.

Mr. Page is survived by two daughters, Linda Moore and husband Donnie of Fillmore, Oklahoma, and Helen Hackney and husband Patrick of Ardmore, Oklahoma; his son, Jimmy Page and wife Anita of Stratford, Oklahoma; his sister, Lorene Nedrow of Middleton, Florida; seven grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Pallbearers for the service will be: Bobby Page, Bubby Moore, Casey Moore, Shane McKinnon, Jacob Tynes and Pat LaFevers. Honorary Bearers will be: Glenn Moore, S. R. Robinson, Buddy Deaver, Larry Davidson and Terry Page.

The family requests that memorials be made in Mr. Page’s name to the Milburn Educational Foundation, PO Box 181, Milburn, OK 73450.
