Graveside services for Opal Marie Neely, 77, were at 2 p.m. Saturday, February 26, 2000 at Condon Grove Cemetery. Musgrove-Merriott-Smith Funeral Home directed the services.  
       
Mrs. Neely was born Dec. 23, 1922, at Wilburton, to James and Mary Hensley Stamper and died Feb. 23, 2000, in the Claremore hospital.         

She was married to Leslie Arvel Neely Oct. 26, 1950, at Dustin. She lived in the Ardmore area 25 years and was a nurses aide at Mercy Memorial Health Care Center and Elmbrook Nursing Home before she retired. She had been a resident of Claremore five months.

Preceding her in death was a daughter, Brenda Neely; a brother, Orphie Stamper and Frank Thompson; and two sisters, Sally Ellis and Dolly Murphy.         

She is survived by her husband, of the home; a son, Russell, Claremore; a brother L.C. Stamper, Stigler; two sisters, Jan Farris and Doris McMahan, Salina; two grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
