Clark Funeral Service

Services for Lorene W. Myers, 85, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Milburn Church of Christ with Bob Page officiating.

Interment will be at Condon Grove Cemetery under the direction of Clark Funeral Home.

Mrs. Myers was born Jan. 22, 1915, at Lynn, to John H. and Annie Splawn Williams. She died Dec. 6, 2000, in a local health care facility.

A lifetime resident of this area, she graduated from Fillmore High School and married Clyde H. Myers July 3, 1936, at Tishomingo. She was a former nurse's aide and a member of both the Milburn Church of Christ and VFW Ladies Auxiliary.

She was preceded in death by her husband Dec. 5, 1969; a son, Gary L. "Red" Myers Feb. 20, 2000; two sisters, Loretta DeShazo and Myrtle Williams; and three brothers, Benny, Grady and Audie Williams.

Survivors include two sons, Donald, Fayetteville, N.C., and John, Milburn; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
