Billie Faye Moody McGregor, 62, passed away on April 27th, 2021 at Alliance Hospital in Durant. A victim of the COVID-19 pandemic, it took her life away too soon.

Billie was born May 3rd, 1958 in Farmersville, Texas to the late Billy and Evelyn Moody. She was born the middle of six children, two who have preceded her in death. Her two sisters, Gayle and husband Dan, and Beverly, along with her brother, Steve and wife Sherry, mourn for the loss of a vibrant woman who touched so many in her walk of life. Throughout her life Billie was always a whirlwind. She grew up in Farmersville where she went to school collecting so many stories, she'd tell her friends and family of her youth. Stories she'd tell her children about a big bellied pig who would bring home pastries, and how she'd raised baby raccoons. Along with so many others that she passed down. She later moved to Sherman, Texas where she lived most of her life. She joined the First Baptist Church in Sherman, where she devoted so many hours to the youth and God's love. Her favorite thing was coaching Upwards and teaching in Awana's on Wednesday nights. Billie worked at the Sherman Post Office as a custodian. Billie loved to read her bible, praying for and with others, and spending time with family. She was always laughing and had a smile upon her face. She was a loving and caring mother, always looking out for her family and putting them first in her life. Billie would often do all she could for her family so they could have a better life.

Billie Faye Moody McGregor leaves behind to cherish her memory, her two children Scott and Brigette McGregor. Her nieces and nephews Carmen, Ceason, Shannon, Brock, Colton, and their children. So many friends, and more.

Billie lived a life full of lessons and God’s plan to the fullest. To see her is to know her and Billie never met a stranger, only friends.

Funeral Services to honor and celebrate Billie’s life will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, May 5, 2020 at DeArman-Clark Funeral Home Chapel.

Interment to follow at Condon Grove Cemetery in Milburn, Oklahoma.
