Clark Funeral Service

Funeral Services for Allie French, 95, of Fillmore, were scheduled for 2 p.m. today at the Fillmore Church of the Nazarene with the Rev. Eugene Ledford and the Rev. Joyce McKown officiating. Interment will follow in the Condon Grove Cemetery.  
 
French was born April 4, 1905, to Joe and Zeffie Talley Rhea at Bold Springs, Indian Territory. She died July 12, 2000, at a local healthcare facility.

She attended school in Milburn and lived in Johnston County most of her life. She married Lawrence French on Aug. 27, 1927. She worked in the housekeeping department at the Johnston Memorial Hospital for many years and sold Avon products. She was a longtime member of the Fillmore Church of the Nazarene.

She was preceded in death by her husband; a son, Maynard French in 1991; an infant daughter, Billie Jo French; a granddaughter, Kay Isenberg; four brothers and five sisters.

She is survived by a daughter, Carol Smith, Fillmore; a sister, Vadie Armstrong, Texas; eight grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

Services are under the direction of Clark Funeral Service in Tishomingo.
