Services for Lena Florence Elrod, 77, were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Mary Ewing officiating. Interment followed in  Grove Cemetery under the direction of Watts Funeral Home.  
       
She was born June 11, 1923, at Fort Smith, Ark., to Charley F. and Ethel Thomas Spray and died Dec. 31, 2000, at Tishomingo.     
    
Lena  graduated from Lookeba-Sickles High School and married A.B. Elrod on Nov. 9, 1942, at Watonga. She was former owner of Nan-Len's Fashions, from 1973 to 1991, and was a clerk and inspector for the Milburn precinct. She was also a member of First United Methodist Church, Business and Professional Women's Club, Homemaker's Extension and American Legion Auxiliary.

Preceding her in death was a sister, Nadine Burke; and brothers, Otis, Stanley, Charley and Claston Spray.

She is survived by her husband, of the home; sons, Joe, Tishomingo, and Bobby, Hooks, Texas; daughters, Louise Vestal, Oklahoma City, and Nancy Wood, Tishomingo; brothers, Vernon, Wendell and Herman Spray, Visalia, Calif.; nine grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.      
   
Pallbearers were Randall Adams, Dick Burrows, Wayne Canaday, Sam Cecil, Edd Clary and Bob Crawford. Honorary bearers are Holland Jester, Mike Harwell, Clarence Stallings, Clarence Lewis, Bryan Manion and Dub Warden.
