Clark Funeral Service

Funeral Services for Mr. Joseph O. Brantley, 79, of Durant, Oklahoma will be held on Thursday, October 23rd, 2014 at 10:00 a. m. in the Herb Clark Memorial Chapel in Tishomingo, Oklahoma with Brother Earl White officiating.

Interment will follow in the Condon Grove Cemetery in Milburn, Oklahoma. Mr. Brantley passed away on Sunday, October 19th, 2014 at the Baylor Heart Hospital in Plano, Texas.

Joe was born on February 9th, 1935 in Tishomingo to Oscar Alton Brantley and Pearl (Sides) Brantley. He attended schools in Tishomingo and Altus, Oklahoma and married Tajuana Howerton on September 9th, 1954 in Altus. Mr. Brantley spent his working career as a mechanic in the automotive industry.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Leon and a sister, Inez.

Mr. Brantley is survived by his wife Tajuana, of the home, three sons, Mike Brantley and wife Brenda of Tishomingo, James Brantley and wife Rhonda and Steve Brantley and wife Sherry, all of Durant, his daughter, Karen Wallace and husband Boyd of Blue, Oklahoma, his siter, Faye Morris of Apache, Oklahoma, twelve grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren and other relatives.
