TISHOMINGO -- Services for Evelyn P. Slossen Blue, 82, will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday at Clark Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Kenneth McCarthick officiating.
Interment will be at Condon Grove Cemetery, Milburn.
Born March 30, 1922, in Corpus Christi, Texas, to the late Everett and Amelia Slossen, she died June 22, 2004, in Tishomingo.
Married to Curry Blue in November of 1941 in Corpus Christi, Texas.
She was a homemaker and longtime resident of Johnston County.
She was preceded in death by her husband in October of 1979; two sons, Randy and Everett Blue; two sisters and a brother.
Survivors include three daughters, Nancy Anderson and Anna Moran, Sherman, Texas; and Louise Blue, Tishomingo; eleven sons, Johnny, Norman, Ricky, Lester, Todd, Rodney, Perry, Darrell and Billy, all of Tishomingo; Pip, Milburn; and Stoney, Sherman; twenty two grandchildren; and thirty five great-grandchildren.
Bearers will be Perry, Craig, Randy and Brandon Blue, Clifton and Kevin Anderson.
Family visitation will be from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. tonight at the funeral home.
