ALANREED - Rose T. Hall, 97, died Wednesday, May 15, 2002, in Clarendon.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Alanreed Cemetery with George Watson, Church of Christ minister of McLean, and Kent Watson, Church of Christ minister of Claude, officiating. Arrangements are by Robertson Funeral Directors.
Mrs. Hall was born Oct. 16, 1904, in the Looney-Eldorado area in Oklahoma. Her family moved to the Laketon community near Miami in 1908. She also had lived in Pampa and Lefors.
She graduated from West Texas Normal Institute in 1923 and taught school in Whitefish, Glenwood and Alanreed schools prior to her retirement. She married George Marvin Hall on Aug. 30, 1923, in Clarendon. She was a member of Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her husband on April 26, 1979; and two sisters.
Survivors include three daughters, Beth Sharp of Clarendon, Jeannie Adams of Alanreed and Kay Hallum of Brownwood; a son, Jack Hall of Clarendon; 11 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials be to Rose T. Hall Math Education Scholarship, WTAMU Foundation, P.O. Box 60766, Canyon, TX 79016-0001; or Alanreed Cemetery Fund, Alanreed, TX 79002.
