Rites Today For Mrs. Morrison
Aged Woman at Elmer Succumbs
Funeral services were to be conducted at 2 p.m. today at the First Methodist church in Elmer for Mrs. Jennie Morrison, age 76 years, who died at 5:05 p.m. Sunday in Elmer. The services was to be conducted by Rev. H. E. Snodgrass, pastor of the Methodist church in Elmer.
Burial was to be at the City cemetery in Altus by the Goodman-Tims Funeral directors.
Born In Missouri
Mrs. Morrison was born December 20, 1860 in Missouri. Fifty two years ago she was married to W. L. Browning of Fort Woth, who died 20 years later. In 1916 she was married to T. R. Morrison at Wichita Falls, Texas, her second husband dying eight years ago. Mrs. Morrison has been living in Jackson county for the past 25 years.
She became ill on last Wednesday.
Survivors include her son, Ted Browning of Dill, Oklahoma,. a brother, A. P. Lovett of New Mexico and several step-children, in addition to her niece Mrs. C. B. Marlin with whom she was residing at the time.
