JANYCE LOUISE RICHARDS
July 30, 1951 - January 24, 2004

Memorial services will be held Friday, January 30, 2004, at 2:30 p.m. at the Arvin Cemetery outdoor chapel.

Janyce was born in Keato, Oklahoma to Melvin & Melba Jones. Later in life, Janyce moved to Arvin, where she met her husband of 36 years, Frank Richards.

They went on to have three children: Daughter, Tracy and Richard Coletti of Bakersfield; daughter, Veronica and Joe Montoya of Taft and son, Charles and Charity Richards of Arvin. She also had 6 beautiful grandchildren, Payton and Parker Coletti, Joseph and Candace Montoya and Haley and Sydney Richards.

Janyce's siblings were, brother Billy and Joyce Jones, brother, Ronald and Mary, brother, Mikel and Trish Jones, Danny Jones and sister, Tanya and Syrus Langston.

She worked for many years as a Dietary Supervisor at Evergreen Arvin Convalescent Hospital. She attended church services at First Baptist Church in Taft, Ca.

The family would like to say a special thanks to Dr. Risbud and staff, Optimal Hospice Care staff and many friends and family for their prayers and support.
