Graveside services will be conducted by Peters Funeral Home for Aline Mooring at Shafter Cemetery on Thursday, July 29th at 10:00. She passed away on Sunday, July 25th, after a long battle with Alzheimer's disease.

Visitation will be held on Wed., July 28th, from 10am-8pm. Pastor Ed Boschman of the Laurel Glen Bible Church will officiate.

Aline was born October 1, 1917, in Kinta, Oklahoma. Kern County has been her home since 1936. Aline was a homemaker and a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Her greatest joys were spending time with family, gardening, and listening to country music.

Aline was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Lige, and her son, James. She is survived by her children: daughter and son-in-law, Colleen and Harold Lashley; daughter, Peggy George; son, Jay Mooring; grandchildren, Kelly Miller and Stacey Grisham, Monty and Julie Mooring, Jason and Travis George, and 10 loving great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters, Pauline, Kitten and Tommie, and brothers, Jim and Joe.

The family would like to thank Patty Bridges and the staff at Shafter Convalescent for their loving care of our mother for the past 4.5 years.

Goodbye Mi Mi. We love you and will miss you.
