Douglas Mooring  was born on July 5, 1943 to Andrew and opal (Burgan) Mooring.  He passed away on August 3, 2020 in Keota, Oklahoma at the age of 77.
 

He is survived by:

His wife of 58 years,  Phillis, of the home

Two sons: Douglas Dwayne Mooring and wife, Kathy, of Roland, OK Christopher Waldrop of Keota, OK

His sisters: Corina Davis of Hanna, OK Shirley Brown and significant other, Robert Maddox, of Sun City, AZ His brother: Andrew Jackson Mooring, Jr. and wife, Sherri, of Prague, OK Eight grandchildren

Sixteen great grandchildren
 

Douglas was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew and Opal Mooring; one daughter, Patricia Myers; two brothers, and three sisters.
 

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, August 7 at Unity Baptist Church in Keota with Rev Scott Welch and Rev. Charles Carry officiating.
