EARL M. BAXTER JR.

3 Jun 1927 - 21 Jan 2002

Laverne – The funeral for Earl M. "Junior" Baxter Jr., 74, will be 11 AM Thursday in Apostolic Faith Church. The Rev. James Brown will officiate. Burial will be in Pleasant Valley Cemetery, northeast of Laverne. Arrangements are by Myatt – Seeger Funeral Home.

He was born June 3, 1927, in Ashland, Kansas, to Earl and Bertha Torrance Baxter and died Monday, January 21, 2002, at Integris Bass Baptist Health Center, Enid.

He was a farmer/stockman and a farm laborer. He was a member of the Apostolic Faith Church in Laverne.

Surviving are one brother, Billy Hancock of Laverne; and three sisters, Mary Crowder of Yacaipa, California, Virginia White of Norman and Elsie Smith of Beaver.

He was preceded in death by two sisters.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to the church or Laverne Senior Citizen Center.
