BEATRICE J. BURNS

31 Jan 1912 - 17 Apr 1984

Laverne – the funeral for Beatrice J. Burns, 72, who died Tuesday in a Buffalo hospital, will be at 2 PM Thursday in the Assembly of God Church at Laverne with Rev. Wesley Peterman, pastor, officiating.

Burial will be in the Laverne Cemetery, with arrangements under the direction of the Seeger Funeral Home of Laverne.

Mrs. Burns was born in western Colorado, January 31, 1912, the daughter of Emery and Maude Boise. She was married to Frank L. Burns in 1947.

They moved to Laverne in 1968. Mrs. Burns had worked for a number of years as a nurse.

She was preceded in death by a daughter Maude Motley, February 24, 1979, and by a sister.

Survivors include her husband Frank of the home; a son, George Whitted of Eugene, Oregon; two sisters, Alta Evendon and Edna Scott, both of Oregon; four grandchildren and two great – grandchildren.
