Dorothy Faye (Barton) Huenergardt

May 20, 1917 ~ December 22, 1980

Mrs. Theodore (Dorothy F.) Huenergardt, 63, 2205 E. Pine, died Monday evening.

Funeral services will be at 10 AM Wednesday in Redeemer Lutheran Church with the Rev. John A. Hauser, minister, officiating.

A graveside service will be conducted at 2 PM Wednesday in the New Hope Cemetery at Selman, under direction of Henninger- Allen Funeral Home.

Mrs. Huenergardt was born May 20, 1917, in Selman where she attended school. The former Dorothy Faye Barton, she more married Theodore Huenergardt July 14, 1934, at Buffalo. The couple made their home in Selman until moving to Buffalo in 1955. In 1965, they moved to Enid where they had since lived.

Mrs. Huenergardt was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church, the Mary Martha Society, and taught Sunday school for many years. She was also active in several other civic and church organizations.

Survivors include her husband, Theodore; two sons, L. O., Enid, and James Louis, Marshfield, Missouri; two daughters, Mrs. Merton (Theda Faye) Miller, Enid, and Mrs. Edgar (Verna Jean) Snow, Amarillo, Texas; nine grandchildren; one brother, Frank Earl Barton, Wichita, Kansas; and four sisters, Mrs. Hugh (Eva) Flemings and Mrs. Lyle (Elsie) Snell, Mrs. Joe (Ione) Anderson, all of Buffalo, and Mrs. Lester (Mary Jane) Sawyers, Wichita, Kansas.

She was preceded in death by infant twin boy and girl, and a six - year - old daughter.

Memorials may be made to the Altar Fund of Redeemer Lutheran Church with the church or the funeral home serving as custodian of the fund.
